If you are thinking about coming to Northview for the first time, you may be wondering what to expect. Typically on Sunday morning you will find dress that ranges from casual to suits, a worship style that blends traditional hymns with contemporary music, instruction from the Bible, and an opportunity to connect with other people. We expect to experience the presence and power of God in every service. It is our conviction that the best answers to life's questions are learned from Jesus, so the focus of our worship and living is on Him. We are learning to be a missional church, by which we mean a body that puts primary emphasis on reaching those who are without Christ. We understand God’s heart to be missional, and we believe Jesus expects His church to be engaging people where they are and helping them to find truth. Our desire is to model the life of Jesus in our community, and by so doing encourage many to join us in becoming his disciples. Another great way to connect is to sit in on a Sunday school class (our elective program gives you a lot of options- see the "Ministries" link for more information) or join a small group that meets during the week for study, caring, and sharing.
