Our mission

Children's Ministries at Northview Alliance exist to glorify God by cooperating with families in helping children become disciples of Jesus Christ.

Our Values

The following values guide us in our ministry to children:

  • Effective teaching of God’s Word
  • An equipped staff

  • Safe and inviting environment
  • Emphasis on becoming like Christ

Wellness Policy

Please do not bring your child to our classes if these symptoms are present:

  • Fever
  • Green/yellow runny nose
  • Excessive coughing
  • Diarrhea
  • Vomiting
  • Questionable rash
  • Conjunctivitis (pink eye)

Registration Policy
All children five years old and under must be checked in by their parents.  Before being admitted to the nursery or a classroom, parents fill in necessary information on a label.  A portion of the label is placed on child’s back.  The backing of the label is kept by the parents to present to their child’s teacher or nursery worker at the end of class.

Nursery

Nursery is available on Sunday morning from 9:30 to the end of the morning worship service.

A room is available for nursing mothers.  Please label your child’s supply bag.

Children’s Sunday School Hour--9:30 to 10:30 am

Children receive age appropriate lessons about God and living a life pleasing to Him. Our aim is to reinforce the training they receive from their parents.

Children’s Church

Children are released before the sermon:

Little Lambs– 2 and 3 year olds (These children may also be brought to their room prior to the service.)

Kingdom Kids– 4 year olds through 2nd graders

AWANA

The acronym stands for “Approved Workers Are Not Ashamed” and comes from 2 Timothy 2:15.  The program is designed to engage the children with the Bible, helping them to memorize verses and learn to apply the biblical principles to their lives.  Each night includes a story time, games, and handbook time (where verses are recited to adult workers).  AWANA runs during the school year and its schedule closely follows that of the public schools.
